Goalkeeper
Alphonse Areola (West Ham): West Ham could have been six goals down at Bournemouth if it wasn't for him. Massive moment, stepped up and showed some quality. Some top goalkeeping to help achieve a 2-2 draw. Losing would have damaged their entire term.
Defenders
Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's a contender for player of the season. Fans mention Gunners' stars. He has been the top performer by a country mile.
Murillo (Nottingham Forest): You'd have been a crazy Forest fan to say 'Murillo will score and we overcome Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. The odds were long shots on that. He shone. He is emerging as a force. He proves to be a handful. Delighted to observe his form similar to before.
Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I saw him multiple matches last year in Italy for AC Milan and he had difficulties due to errors. But at Newcastle he's been dominant. He displays really strong and powerful and appears graceful. It seems he has discovered a spiritual home.
Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not usually a defender, more of a contemporary style offensively. He has proven to be a wonderful signing for Brighton. Who would be surprised at them unearthing more talent unexpectedly? I thought after selling Pervis Estupinan it raised eyebrows but the Seagulls understand better than most.
Central players
Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Alike in style and they are selected for the same reason. Their teams won, many mention about the goalscorers, but absent these individuals those teams don't click. They are so good. They break up play, they attack together.
Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The standout performer. Many Arsenal fans, such as family members, expressed skepticism about his ability as the man to lead them to success. Three strikes in the key match and supporters now wish to erect a monument of him. Goals, composure, he controlled the game. The top performer on the pitch.
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Perhaps this represents aspect I share with Thomas Tuchel on - he has reached a point now where it's going to be very difficult to leave him out. My view was he began well to the season, In my opinion he seemed somewhat presumptuous and hoped he might secure a transfer to Chelsea, and probably wanted that, but he has adapted well. Two superb finishes obviously against Leeds pulled his side from a deficit. He made the impact.
Strikers
Callum Wilson (West Ham): I said he doesn't look his typical form. He appeared as if he was slower. However, incredible. Words fail me. He was excellent. Outstanding in his movement and in his dual goals.
Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A particularly intriguing player. He excels, often more effective as a substitute, but due to Gordon's absence so he has to play. He squandered a key opening against Manchester City at 0-0 with his easiest shot. But to have the psychological strength to place himself into difficult situations and net two was remarkable.
Manager
Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He arrives and beats Arne Slot. A superb tactical approach. Possibly it was five or six for Forest and few would dispute.
